Saturday, June 13, 2026 – As part of his commitment to monitoring the academic progress of students, the Head of the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University, Lecturer Dr. Dhulfiqar Ahmed Hamza, attended and followed up on a number of graduation research discussions conducted by fourth-year students. During his visit, the Head of the Department reviewed the quality of the presented research projects and observed the methods of presentation and discussion. He emphasized the importance of adhering to sound scientific methodology and relying on up-to-date scientific references in conducting research. He also praised the efforts made by both students and academic supervisors in completing their research projects, commending the scientific level demonstrated by the students during their presentations and discussions, as well as the valuable scientific topics addressed in their studies, which contribute to advancing knowledge in the field of medical laboratory technologies. Furthermore, Dr. Hamza highlighted that graduation research represents an essential step in preparing students for their future professional and research careers, stressing the importance of continuing to support research activities that enhance scientific thinking, creativity, and innovation among students. This follow-up visit reflects the Department’s ongoing commitment to strengthening scientific research and improving students’ academic performance in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of achieving academic and scientific excellence.
