Cybersecurity in the medical field involves the use of encryption technologies, multi-layered security systems, threat detection mechanisms, and continuous monitoring of all connected systems. It also includes training staff on digital security practices to minimize human errors, which are among the leading causes of security vulnerabilities. As cyber threats continue to evolve, artificial intelligence has become a key component of healthcare security. It helps detect threats before they occur and analyzes unusual patterns within networks. Additionally, it protects connected medical devices—such as patient monitoring systems and surgical equipment—from tampering or malicious control.
