A Scientific Seminar on Preventing Back Pain and Improving Posture

In line with supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), a scientific seminar titled Posture & Back Pain Day was conducted by technician Mohammed Habib Hussein on Monday, April 13, 2026. The seminar aimed to raise health awareness about the importance of maintaining proper body posture in daily activities, given its essential role in preventing spinal problems and reducing back pain, one of the most common health issues in work and academic environments. The session addressed the main causes of back pain, such as prolonged improper sitting and lack of physical activity. It also presented practical guidelines and simple exercises that help improve posture and enhance overall health. The seminar witnessed positive engagement from attendees through questions and discussions, which enriched the session and maximized its scientific and practical value. This seminar is part of a series of awareness activities aimed at promoting a culture of preventive health, aligning with sustainability efforts to build a healthier and more informed community.
