The staff of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering Technologies organized a workshop titled “The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, Surgery, and Radiographic Imaging” on Sunday, 19/04/2026, in one of the halls of the Engineering Building at Al-Mustaqbal University. The workshop was delivered by Ruqayyah Muhannad Turki and Assistant Lecturer Zahraa Hussein Jassim, and it included presentations and scientific discussions addressing the applications of artificial intelligence in modern medical fields. The workshop was attended by the Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering Technologies, Lecturer Dr. Zahraa Hashim Kareem, along with Assistant Lecturer Yasser Amer Abdulridha from the Department of Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies, in addition to a number of staff members and students who contributed to enriching the scientific discussions. This workshop aimed to disseminate knowledge, develop students’ skills, and keep pace with the rapid advancements in the medical field, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being). These activities also affirm the leading role of Al-Mustaqbal University among private universities in Iraq in supporting scientific initiatives and fostering innovation across various disciplines.
