The Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering organized an awareness activity under the patronage of the respected President of Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Division, on Monday, 13/04/2026, at the Energy Research Center at Al-Mustaqbal University. The activity was presented by the student Rahmatullah Hussein Naji, targeting students and participating teaching staff, through the presentation of a scientific brochure entitled “Optimal Use of Artificial Intelligence in Education: Balancing Innovation and Responsibility.” This activity aimed to enhance awareness of the importance of the responsible use of artificial intelligence technologies in the educational field by highlighting their role in developing teaching and learning methods, while emphasizing the necessity of preserving academic values and scientific integrity. It also sought to achieve a balance between benefiting from technological innovation and maintaining the human role in the educational process. The activity included the printing and distribution of the brochure to attendees, which covered multiple awareness themes, including methods of employing artificial intelligence to support learning, the ethical challenges associated with its use, as well as mechanisms for safe and responsible use within the academic environment. This activity aligns with modern trends in supporting digital transformation in education and is consistent with the objectives of the National Action Plan on Women, Peace, and Security (2025–2030) by empowering women scientifically and intellectually and enhancing their role in keeping pace with modern technological developments. It also contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) by improving the quality of education, and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) by supporting responsible technological innovation. Through this activity, Al-Mustaqbal University, ranked first among private universities in Iraq, affirms its pioneering role in promoting technological awareness and digital culture, and in empowering students—especially female students—to use technology consciously and responsibly, thereby contributing to the preparation of a generation capable of keeping pace with modern developments and building a sustainable society.
