The Dean of the College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, participated in the activities of Erasmus Days 2026, held under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi. The event was attended by the University President’s Assistants, College Deans, the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, and directors of departments and divisions at the University Presidency. The event aimed to strengthen international academic cooperation and expand partnerships with European universities and educational institutions. The activities featured an introductory workshop delivered by Ms. Elaf Salah Mahdi, Head of the Erasmus Unit at the University Presidency. The workshop highlighted the importance of Erasmus+ programmes in supporting higher education, developing academic and professional skills, and enhancing academic exchange and mobility opportunities for students, faculty members, and researchers. It also reviewed priority areas and opportunities for scientific cooperation, knowledge exchange, and the sharing of best academic practices. The Dean’s participation in this international event, held this year under the theme “Learning and Growing: Skills for Tomorrow,” underscores the importance of openness to international academic experiences, developing essential and digital skills, and supporting professional development in line with the requirements of modern higher education. This participation reflects the College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to keeping pace with international initiatives that support education and scientific research, strengthening academic partnerships and cooperation opportunities, and promoting the exchange of knowledge and expertise.
