In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful ﴿O reassured soul, return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing to Him. Enter among My servants, and enter My Paradise.﴾ “Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return.” With hearts believing in Allah’s decree and destiny, and with profound sorrow and grief, the Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University and the Department of Biology at the College of Science mourn the loss of the late student Ghaith Hazim Kamel, a third-year student, who passed away and returned to the mercy of Allah following a tragic drowning accident. In response to this painful loss, the Department of Biology organized a mourning and memorial gathering in remembrance of the deceased student. The gathering was attended by the Dean of the College of Science, the Assistant Dean, the Head and Rapporteur of the Department, a number of faculty members, and a group of his fellow students. The gathering included the recitation of Surat Al-Fatiha for the soul of the deceased, along with memories of his good character, kind manners, and positive reputation among his professors and fellow students. His memory will remain present in the hearts of everyone who knew him and shared his journey within the department. At the conclusion of the gathering, the Department of Biology extended its sincere condolences and deepest sympathies to the deceased’s family, relatives, and fellow students, praying to Almighty Allah to shower him with His vast mercy, grant him a place in His spacious Paradise, and grant his family and loved ones patience and solace. Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return. Al-Mustaqbal University – First among Iraqi Universities
