Al Mustaqbal University Strengthens International Training Opportunities for Students: University President Meets College of Science Delegation Returning from Razi University in Iran As part of Al Mustaqba University’s commitment to expanding international academic training and exchange opportunities and enhancing the practical experiences of its students, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al Mustaqbal University, met with the delegation of students from the College of Science, Department of Forensic Science, who participated in a specialized training program held at Razi University in the Islamic Republic of Iran. During the meeting, the University President praised the students’ performance and commitment throughout the program, emphasizing that such participation represents an extension of the University’s approach to providing high-quality educational and training experiences. These opportunities enable students to engage with international academic environments, develop their scientific and practical skills, and represent Future University in a distinguished manner. Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi also emphasized the importance of transforming these experiences into shared knowledge within the University by encouraging students to share the expertise and lessons they gained with their peers and to utilize them in developing their academic and practical pathways. He further highlighted the University’s continued support for international programs that contribute to building students’ capabilities and broadening their scientific and professional horizons. For his part, Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, explained that this participation reflects the University’s commitment to strengthening international academic cooperation and translating it into direct training opportunities for students. He emphasized the importance of such programs in developing specialized skills and connecting academic knowledge with practical application. The delegation consisted of 12 students from the Department of Forensic Science, under the supervision and leadership of Prof. Dr. Dargham Ali Abbas, Head of the Department of Forensic Science, and Dr. Maytham Nabil Meqdad, Rapporteur of the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems and Academic Coordinator. The students participated in an intensive training program, in addition to a number of educational, cultural, and field activities and visits. The meeting was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza, Dean of the College of Science, along with the faculty members who accompanied the student delegation throughout the training program. The meeting reviewed the delegation’s most significant experiences and the scientific and practical benefits gained from the program, as well as the importance of continuing to integrate these experiences into the development of the educational and training environment within the College. This participation comes as part of Al Mustaqbal University’s vision of strengthening international academic openness and providing its students with valuable opportunities to learn and train beyond the university environment. Such initiatives contribute to preparing a generation equipped with knowledge, skills, and practical experience while strengthening the University’s international presence and academic partnerships.
