The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, received the Head of the Academics Syndicate in Babylon Governorate, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Khafaji, at the university headquarters. The University President welcomed the distinguished guest, commending his continued efforts to maintain communication with academic institutions across the governorate, particularly Al-Mustaqbal University. He also praised his efforts in advocating for the rights of academics and members of educational and academic institutions. For his part, the Head of the Academics Syndicate in Babylon expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the warm hospitality and gracious reception, commending Al-Mustaqbal University’s openness and cooperation with the Syndicate. He noted that this cooperation has been reflected in a number of practical steps in recent months, most notably the establishment of an office for the Academics Syndicate within Al-Mustaqbal University and the provision of employment opportunities for university staff members through the Syndicate’s platform. He also expressed his aspiration to further strengthen cooperation and communication between the Syndicate and the University during the coming period. As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s support for the Academics Syndicate, the University President agreed to host the Syndicate’s Academic Conference (the Central Meeting of the Academics Syndicate) on the university campus next week. At the conclusion of the meeting, the University President encouraged academics and colleagues to take the initiative to join their Syndicate and stand in support of it, as it represents them and advocates for their rights.
