College of Science Holds Adjourned Session of the First College Council Meeting to Complete Academic and Administrative Procedures

The College Council of the College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University held, this morning, an adjourned session of the first College Council meeting for the academic year 2026–2027, chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Al-Sultani, with the attendance of the heads of the scientific departments and officials of the relevant units and committees. The session was held to complete the discussion of the procedures and matters included in the agenda of the first College Council meeting, as well as to follow up on a number of academic and administrative issues related to the preparations for the new academic year. The Council discussed and followed up on several academic and administrative files, including the necessary procedures for ensuring the smooth implementation of the educational process and organizing work within the scientific departments and various college units. The session also addressed the requirements and necessary resources of the scientific departments, mechanisms for organizing academic and administrative work, and matters related to the preparation of weekly lecture schedules to ensure an effective distribution of courses and lectures in accordance with the requirements of the academic departments and their respective specializations. In addition, the Council discussed a number of scientific and academic issues included in the agenda. The submitted proposals were reviewed, and the appropriate decisions and procedures were adopted in accordance with the approved academic and administrative regulations and guidelines. This session represents a continuation of the discussions held during the first College Council meeting and reflects the College of Science’s commitment to following up on the implementation of decisions and procedures in an organized and systematic manner, contributing to enhancing academic and administrative performance and creating appropriate conditions for the commencement of the new academic year. The Dean of the College of Science emphasized the importance of continued coordination and cooperation among the scientific departments and various college units, as well as the need to follow up on the implementation of the adopted decisions, in a way that strengthens institutional performance and contributes to achieving the College’s academic and scientific objectives and plans for the academic year 2026–2027.
