College of Science Holds Its First Council Meeting for the Academic Year 2026–2027

The College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University held its first College Council meeting for the academic year 2026–2027, chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Al-Sultani, with the attendance of the Heads of the Scientific Departments, as well as the officials responsible for Student Activities, Scientific Affairs, and the College’s Website. The meeting addressed a number of important academic and administrative issues included in the Council’s agenda. Key discussions focused on following up on the second-round examinations and reviewing the relevant procedures and requirements to ensure their smooth completion. The Council also discussed the preparations for the new academic year, including the provision of the necessary material and human resources for the scientific departments, in order to ensure an appropriate academic environment for both students and teaching staff. In addition, the meeting addressed the scientific and academic activities planned for the new academic year, emphasizing the importance of enhancing scientific engagement and supporting research and academic initiatives within the College. The Council further discussed the organization of weekly lecture schedules, with the aim of ensuring an efficient distribution of lectures and courses and facilitating the smooth implementation of the educational process in accordance with the requirements of the scientific departments. The meeting also considered a number of academic and scientific matters, and the Council voted on several scientific proposals and issues included in the agenda, taking the appropriate decisions in accordance with the approved academic and administrative procedures. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean emphasized the importance of coordination and integration among the College’s departments and administrative and academic units, stressing the need to continue working as one team to ensure a successful start to the new academic year and to further enhance the College’s academic, scientific, and administrative performance.
