As part of the ongoing efforts of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department to enhance and advance academic and administrative practices across all faculties and departments of Almustaqbal University, the Accreditation Division conducted a field follow-up visit to the Department of English Language and Literature at the College of Arts and Humanities. The Accreditation Division delegation included Eng. Haider Jawad Al-Janabi, Head of the Division, and Assistant Lecturer Sama Safaa Al-Maraab, Head of the Advisory Councils Unit. The delegation was received by Prof. Dr. Asim Al-Alwani, Head of the Department of English Language and Literature. The meeting featured extensive discussions on the importance of programmatic accreditation in enhancing the quality of educational outcomes and ensuring compliance with international academic standards. The discussion also emphasized the need to promptly proceed with completing and fulfilling the relevant accreditation requirements. The visit concluded with an agreement to organize a specialized introductory workshop at the beginning of next week to highlight the mechanisms and requirements of programmatic accreditation and support the department’s academic staff in preparing and completing accreditation files accurately and effectively.
