The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdy, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Reading, United Kingdom, as part of the university’s efforts to expand its international partnerships and strengthen academic and research cooperation with leading global educational institutions The signing ceremony was attended by the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in the United Kingdom, Professor Dr. Qusay Al-Ahmadi, along with a number of officials and academics from the University of Reading. The meeting included discussions on avenues for enhancing joint cooperation in scientific, academic, and research fields The memorandum included exploring the possibility of launching joint academic programs and dual-degree schemes, as well as examining scholarship opportunities and facilities available to students. It also emphasized strengthening collaboration in scientific research and promoting the exchange of expertise and knowledge between the two universities The visit also witnessed the exchange of commemorative shields between both sides, reflecting the depth of their academic relations and their mutual commitment to building an effective partnership that contributes to achieving shared goals On the sidelines of the signing ceremony, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdy and Professor Dr. Qusay Al-Ahmadi met with a group of Iraqi students and researchers studying at the University of Reading.
