Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Rowdan Salman, Dean of the College of Education, the Women’s Affairs Division at the University, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Education and under the supervision of the Unit Coordinator, Professor Dr. Thanaa Baha Al-Din, organized a workshop entitled “The Role of Women in Combating Violence in Society.” The workshop was delivered by the Unit Coordinator and Assistant Lecturer Rola Saad. The workshop addressed the concept of violence, its types and forms, and its negative impacts on women, children, and families. It also emphasized ways to confront violence through awareness-raising and education, as well as strengthening community consciousness. The event was held on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the College of Education – Humanities Building, with the attendance of a number of faculty members and administrative staff. This activity is part of the National Strategy for Combating Violence Against Women, Pillar One, Paragraph (1), and aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4 on Quality Education, which emphasizes promoting awareness and fostering a culture of peace and equality within the academic community. #Ranked_first_among_private_universities_in_Iraq
