Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the Women’s Affairs Division, in cooperation with the Department of Medical Biotechnology at Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a scientific seminar on May 14, 2026, entitled “Women’s Legal Rights.” The seminar was held within the framework of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to promoting peace, justice, and strong institutions. The seminar was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Sarah Rahim Hamza, who addressed the most significant legal rights guaranteed to women under the law, while highlighting the importance of empowering women across various social and institutional fields. This contributes to achieving justice and strengthening women’s active role in building a society founded on equality and respect for rights. The seminar also emphasized the importance of supporting women and enabling their participation in institutional reform and community development processes, considering women as essential contributors to reinforcing the principles of justice and active citizenship. The event witnessed notable interaction from attendees through a number of questions and discussions that reflected the importance of spreading legal awareness among members of society and promoting a culture of respect for rights, in addition to supporting women’s active participation in various aspects of life.
