Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Division, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Department of Radiological Techniques organized an educational workshop on Saturday, May 2, 2026, entitled “Our Book is Our Future: Our Path Toward Awareness, Intellectual Development, and Shaping the Future.” The workshop was held in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 5 concerning gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls, within the framework of the paragraph: “Enhancing Women’s Cultural and Intellectual Awareness” and the pillar: “Women’s Intellectual and Educational Empowerment.” The workshop was delivered by Ms. Marwa Attaallah Kazim from the Department of Radiological Techniques. It addressed the importance of reading and its role in developing women’s intellectual and cultural awareness, thereby contributing to strengthening their position and empowering them intellectually and academically, ultimately supporting the development of a more aware and sustainable society. The workshop aimed to emphasize the importance of supporting and empowering women as essential partners in the process of development and progress. It also highlighted the significance of promoting a culture of solidarity and community support, while reinforcing the role of reading as an effective means of intellectual growth, personality development, and shaping a conscious and influential future. Furthermore, the workshop shed light on the role of knowledge and education in enhancing women’s capabilities and enabling them to contribute effectively to community building through the promotion of reading culture as a fundamental tool for developing enlightened thinking and achieving sustainable development. #Ranked_first_among_private_universities_in_Iraq
