Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the Women’s Affairs Division, in cooperation with the Department of English at the College of Education, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Her Voice Matters: Women, Identity, and Psychological Strength” on April 6, 2026. The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Tabarak Aqeel Dawood and supervised by the Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College, Professor Dr. Thanaa Bahaa Al-Din Abdullah. The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of women’s voices and their active role in society, with a focus on the concepts of identity and psychological strength, as well as the influence of social and cultural factors in shaping them. It included a range of scientific and interactive themes addressing stereotypes that women may encounter and their impact on self-confidence and identity formation. The workshop also presented inspiring examples of women who have achieved outstanding success in various fields, reflecting women’s ability to overcome challenges and achieve excellence. Furthermore, the workshop emphasized the psychological dimension by explaining the relationship between thoughts and emotions and their influence on individual behavior, while highlighting the importance of self-awareness in empowering women and strengthening their societal role. The event witnessed active engagement from students through discussions and interactive activities that contributed to enhancing critical thinking and raising awareness.
