Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the Women’s Affairs Division, in cooperation with the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education, organized a cultural dialogue workshop entitled “Enhancing the Role of Female Students in University Life” on April 21, 2026, at the college premises. The workshop was delivered by Professor Dr. Sahira Qahtan Abdul Jabbar and Assistant Professor Zainab Tayeh Hameed, who addressed the significance of the female student’s role within the educational and developmental system. The sessions highlighted the importance of her active participation in decision-making processes, as well as approaches to empowering her academically, professionally, psychologically, and socially. The workshop also shed light on mechanisms for developing university programs and services in a manner that aligns with the needs of female students, contributing to achieving a balance between their roles within and beyond the university. The event was attended by the Head of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, Dr. Abdul Salam Jawdat, along with a number of faculty members. This activity was implemented within the framework of the 2026 Executive Plan of the Iraqi National Strategy for Women, specifically under the Participation and Leadership Pillar, and in accordance with Paragraph (3), which focuses on strengthening women’s participation in educational institutions and enabling them to assume effective leadership roles. The workshop concluded with a set of practical recommendations and proposals aimed at addressing the needs of female students and enhancing their role in supporting sustainable development pathways, in line with the vision of Al-Mustaqbal University in empowering women and advancing the academic environment. #Ranked_first_among_private_universities_in_Iraq
