The College of Fine Arts at Al-Mustaqbal University has adopted a joint examination system in cooperation with counterpart colleges, including the College of Fine Arts at the University of Babylon. This step is based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, aiming to unify academic standards and ensure fairness in student assessment. The examinations were conducted on Wednesday, 15/4/2026, targeting second- and third-year students in the Department of Design. The implementation of the joint examination system included the “History of Design” exam for second-year students and the “Interior Design” exam for third-year students. The exams were supervised by the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University, represented by Dr. Saad Fathallah Al-Alam, and followed up by the Head of Measurement and Evaluation at the College of Fine Arts, Assistant Lecturer Suhaila Kadhim Jassim. This academic collaboration between Al-Mustaqbal University and the University of Babylon aligns with the Ministry’s directions to develop assessment methods and ensure the quality of educational outcomes through unified standards that enhance students’ academic performance. The joint examination experience represents an important step toward achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), as it contributes to improving the quality of art education and promoting fair and objective student evaluation. It targets students of the College of Fine Arts and benefits participating educational institutions by strengthening academic cooperation and the exchange of expertise.
