Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Division, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Pharmacy organized an awareness workshop entitled: “Hypertension in Women: Prevention and Health Awareness,” held on Sunday, March 15, 2026. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Nazima Baha Tu’t with the participation of first-year students at the College of Pharmacy. This workshop was conducted within the framework of implementing the Third National Plan for Women, Peace, and Security, under the pillar of participation and institutional reform (Paragraph One), and in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being. The workshop aimed to introduce the concept of hypertension, highlight the importance of regular medical check-ups for early detection, and shed light on the main risk factors affecting women. It also addressed the symptoms and potential complications associated with the condition. In addition, the workshop emphasized preventive measures, including adopting a healthy diet, engaging in physical activity, reducing salt intake, and adhering to prescribed medical treatment. #Ranked_first_among_private_universities_in_Iraq #Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being
