Al-Mustaqbal University Conducts Employment Interviews for Its Graduates in Engineering Specializations

Al-Mustaqbal University conducted employment interviews for its graduates in several engineering specializations, in coordination with the Rehabilitation and Employment Division at the University Presidency, based on the previously announced recruitment notice The interviews were held under the direct supervision of the Dean of the Technical Engineering College, Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen, and in the presence of a specialized committee of academics. Graduates were received and interviewed according to professional and academic standards aimed at selecting qualified and competent candidates The interviews included graduates from the Computer Engineering Technologies and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering Technologies departments, giving them the opportunity to present their academic skills and practical experience before the specialized committee This step comes as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to support its graduates and professionally prepare them, as well as to strengthen cooperation with the labor market in a way that contributes to providing real job opportunities for graduates of Al-Mustaqbal University

The Industrial Advisory Council at the College of Agricultural Technologies Strengthens Cooperation with Hatcheries to Enhance Training and Research

The Industrial Advisory Council at the College of Agricultural Technologies held its first regular meeting under the chairmanship of the College Dean, with the presence of the council members and the Head of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Division at the University Presidency, Professor Dr. Iman Abdul Aziz The council discussed prospects for cooperation between the college and hatcheries regarding student training and conducting some practical lessons for students of the Department of Animal Production Technologies, in addition to the possibility of conducting scientific research there. They also explored developing partnerships in other areas related to the department’s work, as well as the department’s role in providing scientific consultations to the hatchery On his part, the Hatchery Director expressed his full readiness to cooperate, praising the initiative of University of the Future, represented by its President Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, in opening the door for cooperation and exchange of expertise between the university and the private sector, thereby promoting the principle of the university’s engagement with the community

With the Support and Follow-up of the Qualification and Employment Division… Launch of the Power Generation Stations and Occupational Safety Courses

Under the patronage of the respected Dean of the Engineering Technical College, and within the framework of its plan to empower students and prepare them for the labor market, the Division of Qualification and Employment at the University Presidency organized, with direct follow-up from the Qualification and Employment Unit at the Deanship of the Engineering Technical College and in coordination with the Summer Training Unit, the launch of the first day of the two training courses titled Electrical Power Generation Stations and Occupational Safety in the Engineering Work Environment, in cooperation with Energy Experts Company This initiative reflects the vital role played by the Division of Qualification and Employment in strengthening the practical aspect of education and linking academic outcomes with labor market requirements, through organizing specialized training programs that contribute to refining students’ skills and developing their professional competencies The first day witnessed active participation from students across various engineering technical departments. The Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Division Leads the Fourth Day of Global Entrepreneurship Week Activities at Al-Mustaqbal University, Focusing on Legislation, Funding, and Digital Media

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week activities, Al-Mustaqbal University continued its fourth day of events under the direct organization and supervision of the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Division, in the presence of the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi. The activities were held within the University’s vision to establish an integrated entrepreneurial ecosystem that fosters innovation and supports startup projects. The Director of the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Division, Professor Dr. Eman Abdul Aziz, emphasized that the Division operates according to a strategic vision aimed at linking educational outcomes with labor market needs, and preparing students and graduates to enter the world of entrepreneurship through specialized training programs, workshops, and institutional partnerships that develop their skills and enable them to transform ideas into productive projects. She added that organizing the Global Entrepreneurship Week activities is part of the Division’s plan to build a comprehensive support system that includes qualification, guidance, and continuous follow-up of student initiatives. The day’s program began with a speech by Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, who stressed the importance of integrating academic and administrative efforts to support the entrepreneurship ecosystem. He explained that updating legislation, facilitating access to funding sources, and strengthening digital media tools are fundamental pillars for ensuring the sustainability of entrepreneurial projects, in alignment with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s directions toward supporting the knowledge economy. The program included an interactive workshop entitled “Digital Media Entrepreneurship: From Idea to Audience,” presented by Professor Dr. Akram Faraj Abdul Hussein, Head of the Media Department at the College of Arts and Humanities, with the participation of Professor Dr. Kamil Al-Qayyim from Al-Alamein Institute for Postgraduate Studies. The workshop focused on strategies for marketing projects through digital platforms, producing impactful content, and building a digital identity capable of effectively delivering the project’s message to the target audience. In the legislative environment track, a specialized seminar titled “Supporting New Legislation for Iraqi Startups” was held, with the participation of a group of specialists. The seminar addressed modern government policies, mechanisms to facilitate company registration procedures, and ways to overcome the legal and regulatory challenges facing entrepreneurs, while emphasizing the importance of cooperation between academic institutions and official bodies to strengthen the investment environment. Additionally, the College of Administrative Sciences organized a workshop titled “How to Fund Your Idea?” under the supervision of the Dean, Professor Dr. Haider Al-Dulaimi, with the participation of several faculty members. The workshop reviewed available funding mechanisms, the requirements of banks and supporting institutions, and methods for preparing comprehensive feasibility studies to enhance funding opportunities and ensure the financial sustainability of projects. Al-Mustaqbal University Hosts Ministerial Committee and Showcases Achievements of Entrepreneurship Week

Al-Mustaqbal University hosted a ministerial committee headed by Professor Dr. Saleh Abdul Jabbar Saleh, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department at the Department of Research and Development, to review the mechanisms for implementing the Entrepreneurship Week activities organized by the university from February 8 to 12. The visit also aimed to follow up on the main programs and events conducted in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which seek to promote a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation within higher education institutions The committee was received by Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision; Professor Dr. Salwan Ubaid, Director of Al-Mustaqbal Center for Renewable Energy Research; Professor Dr. Eman Abdul Aziz, Director of the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Division; and Engineer Khalid Al-Salihi, Director of the Sustainable Development Division. She emphasized the importance of promoting sustainability concepts, empowering Iraqi women, and strengthening entrepreneurship among people with disabilities, in addition to adopting socially driven entrepreneurial models that contribute to creating a positive and sustainable societal impact.
