UOMUS celebrates the promotion of distinguished researchers in scientific journals and interdisciplinary research Al-Mustaqbal University organized a joyful ceremony to celebrate the promotion of a group of its distinguished researchers who have made outstanding scientific contributions published in refereed and internationally ranked scientific journals, in addition to their achievements in multidisciplinary fields. The ceremony was attended by the President of the University Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi and members of the academic and administrative bodies, where the President of the University expressed in his speech his pride in the efforts of researchers who deserved these promotions. He stressed that this promotion reflects the university's commitment to appreciating scientific excellence and encouraging creativity and innovation. The ceremony included honouring the promoted researchers by granting them certificates of appreciation and commemorative shields, in an atmosphere of pride and pride in their achievements that enhance the university's position locally and internationally. For their part, the honoured researchers expressed their happiness and gratitude for this recognition, stressing that this promotion will be an incentive to continue working hard to provide more distinguished research that contributes to the development of their scientific fields and community service. Al-Mustaqbal University Ranks First Among Private Universities and Achieves Significant Leap in URAP 2025 Ranking Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved a remarkable academic milestone by securing the first position among private universities in Iraq according to the URAP (University Ranking by Academic Performance) for 2025. This achievement is further highlighted by the university attaining the fourth rank among all Iraqi universities, both public and private, placing it after the University of Baghdad, the University of Technology, and Salahaddin University. This accomplishment marks a significant leap for the university, demonstrating substantial progress of 639 places compared to last year's ranking. In the 2024 URAP ranking, Al-Mustaqbal University held the 2315th position globally, while in this year's 2025 ranking, it has reached an impressive 1676th place worldwide. This notable advancement reflects the continuous development and dedicated efforts of the university's administration, faculty members, and students in enhancing the quality of education and scientific research. This outstanding performance for the second consecutive year serves as strong evidence of Al-Mustaqbal University's commitment to global academic standards and its relentless pursuit of excellence.
