Conferences 2024-2025

During the 2024–2025 academic year, Al-Mustaqbal University organized five international scientific conferences, with the participation of distinguished researchers from Iraqi, Arab, and international universities. The conferences covered vital topics such as sustainable education, poverty and development, rule of law, health sciences, and Arab women’s sports. These conferences reflect the university’s commitment to advancing scientific research and supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Al-Mustaqbal University – A Leader in International Research Collaboration

As part of its ongoing commitment to scientific research and global academic cooperation, Al-Mustaqbal University provides substantial support to researchers publishing papers in collaboration with renowned Arab and international universities. Thanks to these pioneering efforts, Al-Mustaqbal University now ranks first among Iraqi universities in the number of research publications co-authored with foreign institutions, according to Web of Science data. 📊 Recent statistics show active collaboration with academic institutions from over 10 countries, including: 🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia (1,092 papers) 🇮🇳 India (862 papers) 🇮🇷 Iran (701 papers) 🇨🇳 China Mainland (635 papers) 🇪🇬 Egypt, 🇲🇾 Malaysia, 🇵🇰 Pakistan, 🇺🇸 USA, 🇺🇿 Uzbekistan, 🇮🇩 Indonesia, and more. This achievement highlights the university’s commitment to strengthening its global presence and contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals through research and innovation.

Honored to Serve on the Scientific Committee of ICASF 2025

At Al-Mustaqbal University, we are committed to encouraging our researchers to engage in meaningful scientific collaboration with prestigious international universities. In line with this vision, I am proud to share that I have been selected as a member of the International Scientific Committee for the 3rd International Conference on Advancing Sustainable Futures (ICASF 2025), to be held from 9–11 December 2025 at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi, hosted by Abu Dhabi University. It is a privilege to contribute to a global platform that promotes innovation, sustainability, and academic excellence. I look forward to collaborating with esteemed colleagues and advancing meaningful dialogue around sustainable futures.

Virtual Meeting for the Launch of the Third Edition of the Arab University Rankings

Al-Mustaqbal University is pleased to participate in the Virtual Meeting for the Launch of the Third Edition of the Arab University Rankings, organized by the General Secretariat of the Association of Arab Universities. 🗓️ Date: Monday, May 19, 2025 🕛 Time: 12:00 PM (Baghdad Time) 📍 Platform: Zoom The meeting will include: 1-A presentation of the key evaluation indicators used in the ranking. 2-A showcase of the new electronic platform for the Arab Ranking. This participation reflects the university's continuous efforts to enhance its position in both Arab and international academic rankings.

Scientific Meeting Between Al-Mustaqbal University and Ibn Tofail University in Morocco to Strengthen Scientific and Ranking Collaboration

As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to enhance its international academic partnerships, a joint meeting was held today (Friday 16 June 2025) between Al-Mustaqbal University and Ibn Tofail University in Morocco. The meeting was attended by faculty members from the Department of Scientific Affairs at Al-Mustaqbal University, and Dr. Saida represented Ibn Tofail University. The discussion focused on opportunities for collaboration in global university rankings, scientific research, and academic initiatives that serve the development goals of both institutions. Dr. Saida welcomed the collaboration and emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise and fostering joint efforts, particularly in light of the dynamic progress in international rankings. Several ideas and proposals were presented to enhance scientific and research partnership, including the co-organization of international scientific conferences, and launching exchange programs for faculty members and students during the summer break to enrich academic experiences and expand knowledge horizons. This collaboration reflects the strategic plans of both universities to improve the quality of higher education and scientific research regionally and globally.

Major Milestone for Al-Mustaqbal University

We are proud to announce that Al-Mustaqbal University has been officially appointed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) as the Liaison Center for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation. This strategic designation, in collaboration with the Arab Scientific Research Councils, reflects the university’s leading role in embracing innovation, advancing AI technologies, and supporting digital transformation across higher education institutions in Iraq and the region. This achievement reaffirms Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to future-ready education, cutting-edge research, and its growing impact on national and regional development goals.

My Participation in the Training Program

I am honored to represent Al-Mustaqbal University in this important scientific program aimed at developing research skills and advancing the academic level.
