Mustaqbal Center for AI Staff Participate in Specialized Workshop on Solar Energy Systems

The staff of Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications actively participated in a specialized workshop titled “Design and Implementation of Solar Energy Systems”, held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, with the participation of a group of experts and enthusiasts in the field of renewable energy. The workshop was organized by Awtaad Babel Company for Training, Development, and Scientific Research, in cooperation with the Mustaqbal Energy Research Center, aiming to enhance practical and applied knowledge in designing and implementing solar energy systems according to the latest standards. The workshop covered scientific and practical topics focusing on solar energy fundamentals, load calculations, photovoltaic system design, and included practical project implementation models. The participation of the center’s staff reflects its continuous efforts to develop the skills of its members and keep up with modern technologies that support the transition to clean energy, while enhancing the integration between artificial intelligence and renewable energy fields. Participants emphasized the importance of such workshops in building the technical and scientific capacities of staff and exchanging expertise to support sustainable development initiatives in Iraq. Al-Mustaqbal University Holds Workshop on “Guide to Using Artificial Intelligence”

Al-Mustaqbal University held a specialized workshop titled “Guide to Using Artificial Intelligence,” under the generous patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University, with the participation of deans, their assistants, and heads of departments, on Monday, March 30, 2026, at the Student Activities Hall. The workshop was delivered by Professor Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, Dean of the College of Law, and Professor Dr. Nidal Khudair Abbas, Director of Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence. It addressed key topics related to the application of artificial intelligence technologies in academic and administrative work, as well as ways to enhance institutional performance. Al-Mustaqbal Center Holds Scientific Course on Digital Systems and Arduino Applications

Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications held a free scientific course titled “Introduction to Digital Systems and Their Applications Using Arduino,” with the participation of students and individuals interested in electronic systems and applied programming, as part of its ongoing training programs. The two-day course covered fundamental concepts of digital systems and demonstrated how to utilize the Arduino platform in practical applications. It also included applied examples that helped participants understand electronic principles and connect them to real-world implementations. The course was delivered by Engineer Haider Adi Mohammed and Engineer Hussein Taha Shalaan, who provided valuable scientific and practical insights, leading to strong engagement from the participants. The Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications participated in the scientific conference organized by Jabir Ibn Hayyan University for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, as part of its scientific activities aimed at promoting the culture of digital transformation and artificial intelligence. The conference was held on the occasion of launching the first issue of the university’s research bulletin and honoring a number of distinguished researchers. During the conference, Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khudhair Al-Abbadi, Director of the Center, delivered a scientific lecture highlighting the role of modern technologies and artificial intelligence in developing scientific research and advancing the performance of academic institutions. He also reviewed the importance of utilizing artificial intelligence tools in analyzing research data and enhancing scientific innovation. Dr. Ahmed Adnan Hadi Delivers a Lecture on the Optimal Use of Artificial Intelligence in Editing Academic News

Dr. Ahmed Adnan Hadi, a member of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications at Al-Mustaqbal University, delivered a scientific lecture entitled “The Optimal Use of Artificial Intelligence in Editing Academic News.” The lecture was presented on the sidelines of the training course organized by the Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University titled “Developing Linguistic and Media Skills for Website Administrators.” The lecture addressed the role of artificial intelligence technologies in developing academic media work, particularly in editing and writing university news in a professional manner that keeps pace with the digital transformation in modern media. Dr. Hadi also reviewed a number of AI-based tools and applications that contribute to improving the quality of news content and accelerating editing and linguistic proofreading processes, while emphasizing the importance of the responsible use of these technologies to maintain the scientific credibility of academic institutions. The lecture witnessed active engagement from the participants of the training course, where discussions were held on mechanisms for employing artificial intelligence in managing media content for university websites, in a way that enhances the digital presence of academic institutions and keeps pace with the rapid transformations in digital media. Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications organized a specialized workshop titled “Scientific Research Platforms”, delivered by Dr. Meyas Mohammed Mahdi, as part of the Smart Work Environment framework emphasized by the Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance and technologically develop its academic and administrative staff. The workshop presented an in-depth overview of the most prominent global research platforms and demonstrated how to effectively utilize them to support researchers and students. It also covered advanced search tools, methods for managing scientific sources, and best practices for improving research quality in accordance with international standards.
