1. Born in the holy city of Kerbala/ 1956.
2. Academic achievement
a. Bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the College of Science - University of Mosul
b. Master’s degree in Biochemistry from the College of Science - University of Baghdad
c. Ph.D. in Clinical Biochemistry from the College of Medicine - University of Baghdad.
3. Teaching expectance since Nov., 1983 at the Kufa College of Medicine –Up to June, 30th 2024 in the College of Medicine - University of Kerbala.
4. I have continuous actual employment for approximately (41 years) between the College of Medicine - University of Kufa (20 years), the College of Medicine - University of Babylon, the College of Science - University of Babylon, and the College of Science - University of Kerbala until the College of Medicine - University of Kerbala (21 years) to teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in various specializations related to biochemistry, clinical biochemistry.
5. I hold a professorship in biochemistry since 2001 from the University of Kufa.
6. Head of the Biochemistry Department at the College of Medicine - University of Kufa in 2002.
7. I have more than 180 letters of thanks and appreciation in my personal file from all administrative levels, starting from the Presidency of the Republic and many ministers to general directors, and from many of the specialized conferences in which I participated.
8. Member of the central committee for care of the Arabic language at the University of Kufa and chairman of the committee at the College of Medicine - University of Kufa.
9. Published approximately 195 scientific articles so far and a number of valuable books, including a specialized book (Medical Aspects of Lipid Metabolism).
10. Founder and first dean of the College of Medicine - University of Kerbala in June, 2004 and Dean Vice head of the Biochemistry Department for 13 years.
11. Supervisor for the preparation of 69 M.Sc. and Ph.D. thesis in various Iraqi Universities.
12. Rapporteur of the Ministerial Committee of Experts on the biochemistry curricula for Iraqi medical colleges.
13. Scientific expert for the Science Day Award / Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Affairs.
14. Scientific expert of 50 M.Sc. and Ph.D. thesis in most Iraqi universities.
15. Participation in 180 committees to discuss master’s theses and doctoral thesis in various Iraqi universities.
16. Participation in more than 110 specialized training courses, workshops and specialized conferences inside and outside Iraq.
17. Scientific expert for many local and international specialized scientific journals and a member of many scientific societies.
18. Won many scientific awards in specialized international scientific conferences outside and inside Iraq.
19. Participation in dozens of scientific and academic committees, scientific promotions, and the central objections to promotions committee.
20. Professor of Clinical Biochemistry in Sep., 16th, 2024 , College of Health and Medical Techniques, Al-Mustaqbal University / Babylon – Iraq.
