- Professor Qusay Rashid works at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Babylon, Iraq. He is currently on secondment to Al-Mustaqbal University/Babylon/Iraq. He obtained his PhD in Heat and Fluid Sciences from the University of Baghdad, Iraq. His current research activities focus on three main areas: (a) refrigeration, which includes alternative refrigerants and their environmental impacts, (b) heat and mass transfer, including heat transfer in nanofluids, porous media, Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids, and solar thermal technology, and (c) air conditioning, which includes ventilation in buildings and other confined geometries.
