Under the Guardianship of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College, and as part of MUC effort to achieve SDGs, particularly goal NO.6 (clean water), students and teachers of Building and Construction Techniques Engineering Dept., in collaboration with the Student Activities Division, have held a voluntary campaign in the city of Al-Hilla to raise awareness of keeping Shatt Al-Hilla clean. The major goal of this campaign was to raise awareness among individuals about the hazards of Al-Hilla river pollution due to the dumping of industrial trash, plastic waste, and chemical pollutants, which cause major health issues for humans and marine life. The public has responded well to the campaign.
