Webometrics results have recorded the participation and competence of Eighty-Nine Iraqi Universities and Colleges, Public and private, in the first half of 2022.
January 2022 results of Webometrics websites, covering more than thirty-one thousand educational establishments from all over the world, has witnessed an increase in the number of Iraqi Universities and Colleges amounting to Eighty-Nine Universities and Colleges in comparison to July 2021, being Eighty-Two Universities and Colleges.
Al-Mustaqbal University College has come first among Private Colleges with 41st rank over the Iraqi Universities, Public as well as Private. In addition, MUC has been ranked 5438th internationally.
It is worth mentioning that the Webometrics rating is affiliated with CSIC in Spain. It is published each half-year, depending on the indicators that measure the virtual attendance of universities through their websites. These indicators shall record clarity (50%) transparency (10%) and research papers uniqueness (40%).
