The Al-Mustaqbal University Council held its ninth open session for the academic year 2024–2025, chaired by Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University, with the attendance of all council members and the participation of the university’s academic and scientific supervisor.

The session began with a speech by the University President, in which he expressed his deep appreciation for the tremendous efforts exerted by the university’s faculty, staff, and academic and administrative leadership. These efforts culminated in the success of the 3rd International Festival of Al-Mustaqbal Week for Sustainability, held from April 16 to 24, 2025, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and attended by the Administrative Deputy Minister, Professor Dr. Adnan Al-Jumaili, as his representative.

The University President also praised the efforts made in organizing the final examinations.

In a related context, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi highlighted Al-Mustaqbal University’s active participation in the 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Development Technologies, held in partnership with the Northern Technical University and hosted by Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University in Turkey. The event was attended by the Administrative Deputy Minister representing the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Ankara. This participation resulted in the signing of important memoranda of understanding between counterpart colleges.
