According to the recommendations raised by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research with the Ministerial Team of E-Learning all together with the instructions given by Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College, the Information Technology Unit has organized, and for the fourth day, a workshop to the programmers of the scientific departments at the College.
A lecture entitled “The Mechanism of Activating Electronic Lectures” has been given during the workshop by Assist. Prof. Dr. Azher M. Abed, Head of the Information Technology Unit. Afterwards, the participants have been enrolled in a training course, in which they have practiced on how to prepare interactive lectures, synchronous and non-synchronous, and how to train fresh students on e-learning platforms.
The workshop has managed indeed to cover several issues including the mechanism of preparing interactive lectures, e-learning methodologies, e-learning strategies, etc. It is remarkable to note however, that the training course has been attended by the newly employed programmers, though the IT & E-Learning Unit is still in progress to give educational electronic lectures to the teaching staff of the College as well as their students.
