In coordination with the University of Babylon, and within the cooperation agreement with Al-Mustaqbal University College, and for the purpose of increasing the green land of the University of Babylon and part of its constant program to rehabilitate the front façade of the university, the Engineering Unit of Al-Mustaqbal University College has started a campaign to plant tens of date palms and more than 1000 of other types of trees.
The aim that lies behind the planting campaign is to provide suitable environment for students, which shall contribute in creating better opportunities for innovation and achievement of better results at the scientific level, and preserving the cultural image of the university campus. In addition, expanding green areas shall lead to creating an atmosphere of liveliness and beauty. All this goes in line with the University’s pioneering and distinguished scientific role.
The planted trees have been featured as being evergreen, resistant to climatic and environmental conditions, and they are of different types that are used for decorating the university façade , and in one way or another, it shall promote the environmental and aesthetic aspects of the University.
