In Implementation to the Directives of Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the Continuing Education Center has organized an Educational Workshop targeting the Cadre of Service Workers and Civil Defense Unit, being part of the University Program to promoting Sustainable Development Goals, especially SDG1, which focuses on the Elimination of Poverty.
It is considerable to note that the Workshop has been focusing on three main issues and they are
a. Human Development, and this can be implemented through the improvement of Participants Skills;
b. Environment Promotion, and this can be achieved via enhancement of behaviours that would develop Sustainability Resources; and
c. Economy Improvement that can be carried out by empowering Participants economically through Practical Training.
Accordingly, the Workshop has included a set of topics that have aimed at developing Practical Skills and enhancing the General Knowledge of Participants that would definitely lead to improving their Job Performance, and thus opening broader horizons for Professional Development. However, there is no doubt that the Workshop has witnessed Positive Interaction, where Participants have had the opportunity to acquire new skills that would contribute to improving their Living Standard, in addition to enhancing their contribution in the Fields of their work.
Finally, we are obliged to note that this Activity comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University efforts to support the various segments of Society through the adoption of Training & Awareness Programs, which address current challenges and contribute to the Achievement of Sustainable Development Goals at Various Levels.
