On the occasion of the eighth anniversary of the establishment of Al-Mustaqbal University College and its effectiveness in the cultural week which started on Monday 23/4/2018 and on the first day and within the activities of the Department of Pharmacy joint scientific symposium between Al-Mustaqbal University College and Hikma for the manufacture and marketing of drugs, Quality control of medicines and medical supplies) to discuss the reality of quality control in Iraq and the validity of medicines traded. The Dean presented a presentation on the establishment of the college and its departments. And the vision of the future while the representative of the wisdom company presentation about the activities of the company, which was founded in 1978 and its branches and extensions in various countries of the world, including the United States and England and about 20 countries. Then, the Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for the Conference, Mr. Dr. Sabah Al-Samer, gave a welcoming speech and stressed the importance of the quality control of drugs, which is the focus of the symposium. Then the first lecture was given by Dr. Kazem Abdul Nabi Sharifi Idrisi in the Pharmacy Department at the Al-Mustaqbal University College and the international expert in the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The second lecture was presented by Dr. Sarmad Sabah Al Idrissi, Head of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Industries Branch, University of Kufa, Department of Pharmacy, and was a valuable lecture highlighting the reality of the examination of drugs and evaluating them inside and outside Iraq. Many suggestions and recommendations were discussed. The symposium was attended by a large group of professors and pharmacists as well as representatives of the Ministry of Planning / Standardization and Quality control and MARK G) Pharmaceutical control and research.
