In implementation to the Directives of Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, which call for improving the various aspects of Scientific, Administrative and Service Performance, Quality Assurance & University Performance Department at Al-Mustaqbal University has organized a Qualitative Workshop under the title

“Review & Analysis of Quality Requirements and Academic Accreditation"

We should note that the Workshop has been launched with a Speech delivered by Prof Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific & Academic Supervision, in which he has welcomed Participants, appreciating the Successes already accomplished by the University in the various fields, under the Leadership of the University President, Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi. Besides, he has valued all efforts exerted by the University Staff that have led to achieving the most notable targets, and making Al-Mustaqbal University a Difficult Number among other Educational Institutions. Prof Dr. Al-Zuhairi has also stressed in his Speech the vitality of joint work in the Spirit of One Team, with the necessity of proceeding Follow-Up & Review Process of all aspects in order to determine the stages of progress on this important file.
For his part, Dr. Riyad Hamid Salman, Director of Quality Assurance Division, has submitted a comprehensive analysis of what has been accomplished in the Academic Accreditation File at the level of Colleges and Scientific Departments, pointing out the positive points as well as the challenges that require attention to be overcome.
We are obliged to note that the Workshop has addressed a set of topics, including Program Accreditation, Iraqi Ranking, International Accreditation, and preparations for implementing Bologna Process.
Finally, it is remarkable to note that the Workshop has been attended by Assist Prof Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, President Assistant for Scientific Affairs, and a number of Department Directors at the University Presidency, in addition to Scientific Assistants, and Quality Officials.
