Part of His Continuous Follow-Up to the various aspects of performance, and the ongoing preparations for the New Academic Year 2024 – 2025, Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, has convened a Meeting with a number of Members of the Scientific Departments at the University Presidency and its other Formations. During the Meeting, His Excellency has emphasized the necessity to exert all required efforts so as to achieve the best levels of performance, and working in a Team Spirit in order to maintain the Advanced Positions already accomplished in the different fields related to Scientific Departments, which include following up and activating Scientific Research Movement, promoting the Concept of Sustainability, establishing Partnerships, and concluding Agreements with Local as well as International Universities, in addition to other details related to Quality Assurance, Achievement of both Programmatic & Institutional Accreditation, Qualification and Employment, all along with the activating of Research Centers that have been established earlier this year.
Besides, the University President has confirmed the importance of monitoring performance in these important areas and evaluating work according to Standards that depend on Commitment, Integrity, Transparency, and Speed of Response to the Implementation of Tasks, providing Qualitative Initiatives that would lead to promoting work, far from courtesy and favoritism, and in a way that makes the Evaluation an Incentive to offering the best.
For his part, Prof Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, has referred in the Speech he has delivered during the Meeting to the Progress achieved in the Field of Scientific Research, Accomplishment of Partnerships with a number of Public Institutions, and joining International Unions and Organizations, being in harmony with the Policy of the Ministry in the process of Internationalizing Higher Education. In another part of his Speech, he has stressed the necessity of adhering to the Specified Timings for replying to Official Letters, in addition to the Monthly and Quarterly Reports requested by the Ministry.
It is remarkable to note as well that the Director of Scientific Affairs Department, Dr. Tariq Jawad Kadhim, in partnership with Dr. Abdullah Kadhim, the Scientific Affairs Consultant, have submitted a Presentation comprising Analysis of Data related to the Main Themes of the Meeting.
Finally, we are obliged to note that the Meeting has been attended by a number of College Deans, Department Directors at the University Presidency, and Concerned Professors and Associates.
