We would like to note that Al-Mustaqbal University has had an active participation in the Dentistry Colleges Council that has convened its fourth Session at the University of Baghdad, headed by Prof Dr. Raghad Abdul-Razzaq Al-Hashimi, Chairman of the Council, whereas Al-Mustaqbal University Delegation has been chaired by Prof Dr. Athraa Yahya Al-Hijazi, Dean of the Dentistry College.
Prof. Dr. Hijazi has clarified that a notable participation has been played by Al-Mustaqbal University Delegation the Discussions conducted during the Meeting regarding the topics of the Agenda, including the Assessment Examinations of the Academic Year 2023-2024, in addition to the difficulties and challenges that Students have faced, as well as the Evaluation Mechanisms. Besides, it has been confirmed that all these difficulties shall be treated carefully and overcome in the near future. Focus has also been on Directives and Preparations related to the Assessment Examinations for the Academic Year 2024-2025, taking into consideration the Mechanisms to be adopted and the Academic Subjects that shall be included in Exam. In addition to all these issues, the Scientific Conferences Program of Private Colleges and Universities that would be convened in the near future has been discussed as well.
We are obliged to keep in mind that Stages of Work on modernizing and developing Curricula in order to be compatible with those of International Universities, and achieving improvement in the Scientific and Practical Level of Dentistry Colleges Graduates have been an area of discussion.
Finally, it is remarkable to note that Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University has clarified in a Statement released to the University Media that College of Dentistry is deemed as a Distinguished College at our University, and it has achieved High Success Rates in the Assessment Examinations that have been conducted recently, and meanwhile confirming the effective role provided by Laboratories. The College after all has been supplied with advanced devices and equipment that would undoubtedly meet the Practical Aspect expected to be accomplished.
