In appreciation to His Distinguished Efforts and Hard Work that have led Al-Mustaqbal University to achieving Advanced Ranks in the TIMES IMPACT RANKING 2024 at both Local and International Levels, Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, has received a Letter of Thanks & Appreciation issued by Prof Dr. Haidar Abid Dhahad, the Undersecretary for Scientific Research Affairs at the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research.
For his part, Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, has emphasized in a Statement released to the University Media, that they do need to move forward to achieve the University Vision, Mission and Objectives in order to always be at the forefront with the enthusiasm of its Members and Students, and to practically embody its Slogan "Towards a Sustainable University" through the adoption of many Initiatives in the various Promising Fields.
It is worth noting that Al-Mustaqbal University has been ranked First among Private Universities and Second among all Iraqi Universities in the TIMES IMPACT RANKING 2024, with Al-Basra University coming First, followed by Al-Mustaqbal University in the Second Place, whereas Baghdad and Babylon Universities have occupied Third and Fourth Positions respectively.
We would like to note as well that Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved Advanced Ranks at the Level of Goals, most notably SDG 7: Clean and Affordable Energy, SDG 3: Good Health & Well-Being, SDG 16: Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions, as well as SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, in addition to other goals related to Work, Climate and Quality Education.
In another part of His Speech, the University President has pointed out that the University has adopted many Qualitative and Promising Initiatives in the Field of Sustainability that have had a major role in the achievement of these Advanced Ranks.
