Al-Mustaqbal University Council convenes its Eleventh Session for the Academic Year 2023-2024

We would like to note that Al-Mustaqbal University Council has convened its Eleventh Session for the Academic Year 2023-2024, headed by Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, in the presence of the Council Members.
The University President has opened the Session, congratulating Attendees and through them all the University Academics, Employees as well as Students on the occasion of the Academic Year End and the completion of Final Exams successfully, with the Achievement of Distinguished Results in the Assessment Exams, in addition to obtaining Advanced Ranks at both National & International Classifications, where the University has achieved First Place in the National Ranking for two consecutive years maintaining its position at the forefront. Besides, and most recently in the TIMES IMPACT Ranking, the University has managed to become First among Private Universities, and ranked Second among all Iraqi Universities, with Advanced Global Position. In this regard, the University President has appreciated all the efforts exerted to achieve this achievement through the adoption of many Promising Initiatives.
In another aspect of His Speech, the University President has pointed out that Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved First Qualitative Partnership at the National Level by signing a Cooperation Agreement with the Ministry of Planning, in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research to achieve integration between Universities and Educational institutions on the one hand and State Ministries on the other hand. There has been sincere appreciation and great approval from the Ministry of Planning for the Great Role played by Al-Mustaqbal University in communicating with State Ministries and Sectors of Society.
In his Speech, the University President has indicated that the past period has witnessed a wide movement to activate Cooperation Agreements that the University has concluded earlier, including the Universities of Diyala, Wasit, Al-Mustansiriya, and Central Technical University, stressing at the same time that College Deans and Departments in Charge are required to keep on reviewing those Agreements in order to begin implementing any possible items.
Moreover, the International Partnership with the Malaysian USM University has also been present at the University Council Meeting, as it has been approved to establish Al-Mustaqbal International Center for the purpose of coordinating between the two Universities, regarding Post-Graduate Programs, including a Master Degree in Electronic Systems Engineering and a Master Degree in Clinical Anatomy Sciences, where a number of Academics shall be sent to Malaysia with the aim of training and launching Admission Portals for Students who are wishing to join the aforementioned Programs.
All the items listed on the Meeting Agenda have been reviewed, and the necessary decisions and recommendations have been taken, including approval of Graduates Orders for the Current Academic Year in accordance with the Ministerial Instructions, setting dates for the Second Round Exams of First-Year Students, in addition to Summer Training Requirements. Other issues have been also discussed before concluding the Meeting, comprising the Request submitted by the Institute of Auditors to establish a a Shared Branch within the University, approving the Minutes of Academic Promotions Committee, the Appointment Minutes, and the Announcement of Vacant Jobs in preparation for the next Academic Year 2024-2025
