We would like to note that Al-Mustaqbal University has been ranked Second among Iraqi Public Universities, and First among Private Universities & Colleges in
"The Sustainable Development Ranking of Universities"
It is remarkable to note that the classification in question is part of the Times Impact Ranking, issued by the Times Foundation in London, and it is for the Year 2024. The results have been announced on Wednesday 12th June 2024.
Official Results have indicated that Basra University has been ranked First (401-600), then Al-Mustaqbal University ranked Second (601-800) globally, followed by University of Baghdad, being ranked Third (601-800), and then the University of Babylon ranked Fourth (801-1000).
It should be noted that the British Times Sustainable Development Classification does evaluate Universities that come from everywhere in the World as per their Responses to the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University has clarified that their University has been classified within the Global Range of 200-600 out of 2,152 Universities included in the aforementioned Classification.
We are obliged to note however that Al-Mustaqbal University has been ranked First among Iraqi Public Universities at SDG7: Clean & Affordable Energy, SDG3: Good Health & Well-Being, and SDG16: Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions, in addition to achieving Advanced Positions on Other Goals.
Finally, we should mention that the University President has blessed this Distinguished Achievement, extending his Thanks and Appreciation to all Circles that have worked hard and diligently in order to reach such notable Result, including Academics, Associates, Researchers, in addition to Scientific and Administrative Leaders, who have contributed in one way or another to displaying the Bright Image of Al-Mustaqbal University.
