In implantation to the Directives of Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and within the Approach of Openness & Communication with Iraqi, Arab and International Universities that aim to consolidating bonds of cooperation in the Academic, Scientific and Research Fields between Public and Private Universities, a Joint Scientific & Academic Cooperation Agreement has been signed between College of Technology & Medical Health at Al-Mustaqbal University and College of Biotechnology at Al-Qasim Green University.
It is remarkable to note that the Agreement has aimed to enhancing joint cooperation at Scientific and Academic Fields between the two Universities, that would certainly lead to promoting the status of Iraqi Universities among their counterparts, whether in the region or in the whole World.
We should note however that the Agreement has included cooperation in a number of common interest areas so that Goals & Vision of both Universities shall be effectively achieved. It has comprised Exchange of Experiences in the Fields of Teaching and Mutual Scientific Research, as well as organizing Conferences, Seminars and Workshops, in addition to activating Academic Visits at the level of Students and Researchers.
The Agreement has also incorporated Cooperation and Coordination in the field of developing capabilities and skills of Academics and Students, as well as updating Curricula in line with the Rapid Technological Progress witnessed in the World, and thus, meeting Labor Market Requirements as well.
It is remarkable to note that Prof Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, has indicated in his Speech while opening the Proceedings of the Agreement Signing Ceremony that Al-Mustaqbal University, represented by its President, Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, emphasizes the importance of activating Memorandums of Understanding and Agreements by initiating the implementation of possible items as per priorities, as well as proceeding with permanent follow-up through continuous communication in a way that would achieve the desired benefit for both parties.
It is worth noting that the Agreement has been signed by Assist Prof Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayim, Dean of College of Technology & Medical Health at Al-Mustaqbal University, in the presence of Assist Prof Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi, Deputy Dean of College of Technology & Medical Health, In addition to Dr. Sameer Ibrahim Badrawi, Head of Cultural Relations Division at the University Presidency, Whereas the Agreement has been signed by Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, Dean of Biotechnology College at Al-Qasim Green University.
Finally, we are obliged to note that the Signing Ceremony has been concluded by submitting Al-Mustaqbal University Shield to the Dean of Biotechnology College of Al-Qasim Green University who in turn has expressed his Thanks and Appreciation for Warm Welcome and Hospitality.
