His Excellency Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, has sent on the Occasion of Teacher's Day a Message to the Educational Staff, commencing as follows:

"Dear all of the Educational Family
On the occasion of Teacher's Day, we would like to extend to you all, as an Educational Family, our highest congratulations and appreciations for your patriotic efforts that you do exert in your sacred profession that everybody evaluates and regards as a profession of Prophets and Reformers.
We would like indeed to express our gratitude and thanks to every sincere and trustworthy teacher who has dedicated himself to the job of educating children, conferring upon them all types of knowledge and wisdom, and thus taking them out of the darkness of ignorance towards a brighter world illuminated with the lights of cognition and perception.
On your recognized day, I am obliged to greet you in my name and in the name of Al-Mustaqbal University Staff, offering my deepest thanks and appreciation to every teacher, male and female, as you are the trustees of the most precious things that God has given us, and being the focus of hope, you are the ones on whom society depends, after God, in nurturing, taking care and educating our children so that they become as God has intended them to be the best Nation created of Mankind.
