It is considerable to note that the Ministry of Planning, represented by Dr. Sabah Jundi Mansour, the Executive Director General of Poverty Alleviation Strategy, has actively participated in the Activities of Al-Mustaqbal Sustainability Festival. This participation indeed has been in a Dialogue Session, in which the Government Efforts to Reduce Poverty has been widely investigated, as being one of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
During the session, Dr. Mansour, the Director General has reviewed the most important Activities, Events and Strategies that have been adopted and carried out by the Government that have included the implementation of many Service Projects in Poor Areas as part of the Poverty Alleviation Strategy, referring meanwhile to the efforts exerted in formulating and amending Laws on behalf of poor people. In addition, he has talked about the Government Future Plans, which comprise indeed a package of Decisions, Laws and Procedures to be taken in this context.
