In a qualitative step towards promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and within the Activities of Al-Mustaqbal Sustainability Week, Prof Dr. Haidar Abid Dhahad, Deputy Minister of Higher Education for Scientific Research Affairs, being accompanied by Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, the University President, and in presence of Prominent Figures, has inaugurated the Modern Mushroom Farm at Al-Mustaqbal University. This initiative indeed does reflect the University Commitment towards promoting Sustainable Agriculture and stimulating Environmental Production.
There is no doubt that such Pioneering Project would play an essential role in the Achievement of Sustainable Development Goals, and effectively contributing in the creation of Healthy & Balanced Environment.
The Mushroom Farm after all is a Model of Smart and Sustainable Agriculture, as it is concerned in producing Mushrooms through the use of Modern and Environmental Methods as well as the latest Technologies in the Field of Agriculture.
