In his visit to Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the aforementioned University, being represented by its President, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman Muhammad. It is remarkable to note that the Signing Ceremony has been attended by the Delegation Members, Assist. Prof. Dr. Hamza Muhammad Ridha Yahya, Head of Bio-Medical Engineering Department, and the University Consultant for International Academic Affairs, in addition to Assist. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Abid Kadhim, the Dean of Sciences College and Head of Medical Physics Department
Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi has clarified that concluding a Memorandum of Understanding with Universiti Sains Malaysia, which owns distinguished experiences in both Education & Research, in addition to occupying advanced positions in the International Rankings represents indeed an essential step in the process of establishing a Strong Relationship between the two Universities, and thus they would support each other in divergent fields, including Academic Activities, Scientific Research, Innovation, Students Training, as well as cooperating in the Field of Higher Studies.
For his part, Assist. Prof Dr. Hamza Muhammad Ridha has pointed out that both Universities have come up with a Preliminary Agreement regarding the cooperation in the Master Degree Program at Electronic Systems Design Engineering so that Students shall be able to access the same Curricula and Resources through Full Time Attendance at Al-Mustaqbal University, and with such procedure, there is no doubt that several essential constraints shall be defeated, facilitating the process for Students to obtain a Higher Degree, which fully meets International Standards.
