It is considerable to note that Al-Mustaqbal University Delegation to Malaysia has been headed by Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, the University President, and during a visit to Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Prof Majdi has had a Meeting with Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Abdul Mutalib, President of the Malaysian University where Introductory Speeches have been exchanged with a Video about the two Universities, followed by the Ceremony of Signing a Cooperation Agreement, which has been attended by the Delegation Members, Assist. Prof. Dr. Hamza Muhammad Ridha Yahya, Head of Bio-Medical Engineering Department, and the University Consultant for International Academic Affairs, in addition to Assist. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Abid Kadhim, the Dean of Sciences College and Head of Medical Physics Department
In his Speech, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi has confirmed that concluding a Cooperation Agreement with Petronas University represents an essential step in the process of establishing a Strong Relationship between the two Universities, and thus they would support each other in divergent fields, including Academic Activities, Scientific Research, Innovation, Students Training, in addition to Technological and Administrative Entrepreneurship, On the other side, and for their part, UTP Academics have expressed their admiration of the Global Scientific Achievements that have been accomplished by Al-Mustaqbal University, emphasizing their sincere desire for the Effective Cooperation between the two parties in Engineering Specializations.
It should be noted that the Delegation has been taken in a tour through the various Departments of the Malaysian University so as to get acquainted with the latest Modern Developments of Scientific Laboratories, especially those related to Chemical Engineering & Petroleum Industries in the fields of Control, Operations, Heat Exchangers, and Methods of Separating Materials. The UTP President has confirmed their readiness to admit Al-Mustaqbal University Graduates of Engineering College, Department of Chemical Engineering & Petroleum Industries to complete their Post-Graduate studies, in addition to the Current Students of Third and Fourth Years at the aforementioned Department to take their Summer Training.
