Under the Guardianship of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, College of Engineering & Technology has celebrated its First Establishment Anniversary on Saturday 21st October 2023, and being directly supervised by Assist Prof Dr. Azher M. Abid, Dean of the College.
It is remarkable to note that the Festival has been organized under the slogan
"Our Students are Our Pride, being Symbol of Creativity & Talents"
We should note as well that divergent activities have been conducted during the Festival, including honoring Top Students and Graduates, distribution of Certificates and Shields, Study Fees Reduction Orders, Appointment Orders of Outstanding Graduates, and Letters of Appreciation to Graduates who have been admitted to Higher Studies.
The Festival, which has been attended by Heads of Departments, University College Deans, in addition to the Academics and Employees, has started with playing the National Anthem, reciting Surat Al-Fatiha on the souls of Iraqi and Palestinian Martyrs, and then followed by the Speech of Assist Prof Dr. Azher M. Abid, the College Dean, in which he has thanked the University President for the unlimited support that he has been providing to the College, and appreciating the Scientific Achievements accomplished by the College Departments, specifically in the Field of Research, as well as their Scientific Sobriety, and High Competence of the Teaching Staff.
After that Students Activities have been pursued, starting with a Speech delivered by the College Students Representative, in which she has thanked both the University and the College for adopting such activities that undoubtedly shall enhance Students Academic Achievements.
It is worth noting that reading Folk Poetry has been part of the Students Activities, which have been concluded by honoring Top Students in the presence of the College Dean, Department Heads, and the Teaching Staff. Souvenir Photos have been taken as well on this wonderful occasion.
