Al-Mustaqbal University Delegation, represented by Dr. Ahmed Rodhan Salman, and Dr. Riyad Hamid Salman, within a Delegation representing the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research, headed by Dr. Haidar Abid Dhahad, the Ministry Deputy for Scientific Research Affairs, have participated with more than 60 Universities and Institutions in the Science Week organized between Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Ministry Deputy has clarified that the Science Week between Iraq and Iran does reflect the Degree of Understanding & Coordination as a result of the Agreement concluded between the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research & Technology, and thus proceeding with the dialogue that has been launched in Baghdad.
He added that the Universities of both Countries do occupy highly remarkable Positions in the Fields of Scientific Research & Global Rankings, and this shall undoubtedly lead to creating more areas of Partnership & Cooperation in many other fields, regarding different types of Development Programs. Meanwhile, the Ministry Deputy has emphasized that the Iraqi Delegation does include High-Ranking Officials representing the Ministry as well as its Universities, and this might indicate their positive interest in developing the Joint Scientific Cooperation Programs between the Universities of both Countries that shall lead to achieving the desired level of relations with an Effective Impact on Cultural Exchange and Scientific Expertise.
It is remarkable to note that the Opening Activities of Science Week that shall last until the twelfth of October, have comprised a number of Official Speeches, including those of Dr. Hazim Baqir Tahir, Director General of Missions & Cultural Relations Department, and Cultural Advisors, in addition to Scientific Presentations that have focused on the Importance of Academic Education and the Level of Understanding between Iraqi and Iranian Universities
