According to the Directives of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College, a Delegation representing the College has participated in a Workshop organized by the College of Engineering at Al-Qasim Green University, in cooperation with the Iraqi Council of Accreditation for Engineering Education (ICAEE). The Workshop has been under the title

“Procedures and Requirements for Obtaining National Accreditation”
It is remarkable to note that Several Academic Personalities, in addition to our Delegation Members, have attended the Workshop, including Prof Dr. Ziyad Suleiman Muhammad, Head of the Iraqi Council of Accreditation for Engineering Education, Prof. Dr. Jalal Muhammad, and Prof. Dr. Ali Naji Attiya.
However, it should be noted that the Workshop has mainly included a Review of the Standards and their Application & Documentation Mechanism, being required for the Preparation of a Self-Assessment Report, as this Report is deemed a main objective for obtaining Program Accreditation. Besides, the National Accreditation Criteria and means of developing Study Programs Management have been widely discussed during the Workshop.
Finally, we should keep in mind that this Activity comes as part of the College Program to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals, specifically, SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
