Under the Guardianship of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College, both Al-Mustaqbal Book Fair as well as Babylon International Street Arts Forum have been concluded. We are obliged to emphasize the fact that Al-Mustaqbal Cultural Week has amazingly included a large number of artistic, cultural and creative performances, with the participation of Arab and Iraqi artists, in addition to the distinguished role played by the College Students, keeping in mind that many countries have contributed in these activities, including Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Kuwait, Tunisia, Lebanon, Iran, Turkey, Sudan, Algeria, Morocco and Iraq.
The College has been keen on involving Students in the various events of the Cultural Program, which has been highly appreciated by a large group of specialists, while our College is taking essential and historical steps towards creating and establishing an ideal environment for its students, meeting all their needs, within what we may proudly describe as a Sustainable University.
The Artistic Performances have varied, including Dancing Puppets, Juggling Games, and a Purposeful Awareness-Raising Meta-Theatre Show, regarding harms that might result from using a mobile phone while driving a car. Moreover, the Egyptian Artist Hussein Sami has been unique and really excellent in his performance, as well as the Musical Band. At the end, we should note that Babylon International Forum for Street Arts has been concluded with the attendance of the Secretary-General of International Theater Authority, the Sudanese Ambassador Mr. Ali Amin.
