In implementation to the Directives of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College, the Academic Dr. Mijbil Marjan has published a Joint Research with two Researchers from the College of Business Administration at the University of Babylon, namely, Assist Prof Dr. Aqdas Hussein Al-Nasir, and Dr. Ezdihar Jasim Muhammad.
The Research, which has been published in a Journal indexed within SCOPUS Engines, is entitled

“Measurement & Disclosure of Accounting Quality Costs & Their Effect on Tax Profits”

It is considerable to note that the Study has been investigating the process of disclosing the Accounting Quality Elements and including them in the Financial Statements. Such process is of great importance in Accounting, indeed, since the utilization of Financial and Non-Financial Indicators in the Measurement of Quality Costs shall spare for the Company lots of unnecessary Quality Costs due to operating the obtained data properly. Thus, the whole process shall lead to rationalizing other Cost Elements, and linking them to the Activities that do accurately benefit from them.
The Research has concluded that the existence of Financial & Cost Awareness shall serve as a useful database that can be used appropriately by the Relevant Authorities of the Company. Besides, such database, when available, has a great role in reducing the percentage of loss, and thus minimizing Failure Percentage of Production in a way that undoubtedly shall lead to saving costs, whether for materials or labor. However, these Expenses are considered as one of the most important Cost Elements that might affect Tax Profits.
